1.Compare the script, movie and website. What are the differences?

Script (least interactive: answer to qns4)

  • Mundane to some
  • Wordy
  • No visual and audio effects
  • Takes longer time to understand
  • Takes greater effort
  • More illustration on details
  • able to epict the story through your own imagination

Movie (most intereactive : answer to qns. 3)

  • More interesting
  • Visual effect(lighting, shadow etc)
  • Audio
  • easier to understand the story plot
  • Motion picture
  • Tend to miss out the details
  • Least effort
  • They show us the situation thus less imagination needed

Web

  • Internet/web
  • More on behind the scenes
  • Trailor
  • No effort needed/ straight to the point
  • More information on cast/crews and film

2.Which experience do you prefer? Movie!

I would prefer the movie website as it is more appealing to our eyes, ears and mind. It is an ‘excuse’ to meet someone/ get out of the house and I personally felt that the movie actually conveys the story much better compared to website and script. Morever, who can resist the comfort in the theatre with your favourite company and popcorns!

5. What does interactive means?

Interactive means the acting or capability of acting on each other, communication between 2 or more people.

6.What is the purpose of each medium?

Script

  • Tells you a story
  • Filming purposes
  • More convenient for cast and crews

Movie

  • Tells you a story through an appealing way
  • movie lovers
  • leisure purposes

Web

  • Extra information
  • Updates
  • Promote the movie
  • Showcase their cast
  • Highlights of the movie!
